John Lewis
Owner
John was born and raised in Georgetown, KY, and has spent his life serving the same community he now works in. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy, serving for three years before returning home to begin his career with the Georgetown Fire Department, where he eventually retired as a Captain.
He has been involved in home improvement from an early age, starting in his dad’s business and later building companies of his own. In 2021, he founded Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting, combining that experience with a hands-on approach that continues to drive the company’s growth.
Outside of work, John enjoys UK football games and enjoys plenty of sun and fun lakeside with his family, including his wife Maria and their two children, Taber and Duncan, and his favorite of the bunch, his grandchildren, Grayson and Beau!
Taber Walls
CEO
Taber earned her undergraduate degree from Bellarmine University and her Master’s degree from Campbellsville University before starting her career in the corporate world. In the summer of 2022, she made the decision to leave that path and join her dad full-time at Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting.
Today, she keeps everything running behind the scenes, from office operations to marketing and day-to-day coordination across the business. She and her husband stay busy with their two kids, Grayson and Beau, balancing family life with the fast pace of growing the company.
Duncan Lewis
COO / Residential & Commercial Production Manager
Duncan graduated from the University of Kentucky and followed in his dad’s footsteps by serving as a firefighter with the Georgetown Fire Department. That same steady approach carries into his role at Bluegrass, working on both residential and commercial projects.
In addition to working directly with homeowners, he supports the sales team and helps keep projects moving and organized every step of the way. He lives locally with his wife, Lexi, and stays closely involved in both the field and day-to-day operations.
Tyler Carpenter
Sales Manager
Tyler’s path to Georgetown has taken him all over, from being born in Seoul, Korea, while his dad was stationed in the Army, to living in Kansas, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC, before settling in Kentucky. He played college football at Campbellsville University, building the team-first mindset that he brings into his role today.
Before joining Bluegrass, Tyler worked as a Group Lead at Toyota, building leadership experience in a fast-paced environment. Now as Sales Manager, he works directly with homeowners while leading the sales team and keeping projects on track. He also works alongside Duncan, a longtime friend, which shows in how they work day to day.
Weston Walters
Residential Roofing Specialist
Weston serves as a firefighter with the Georgetown Fire Department, bringing that same sense of responsibility and focus into his work in roofing. With a background in business administration from Western Kentucky University, he approaches each project with both practical experience and a clear understanding of homeowners’ needs.
Most of his time outside of work is spent with his wife and two daughters, staying active and always finding ways to keep learning through podcasts and training.
Chris Ramsey
Residential Roofing Specialist
Chris splits his time between roofing and firefighting in Lexington. He stays hands-on and consistent, making sure homeowners feel confident in the work from start to finish.
When you can’t find Chris on a roof, he’s spending his time with his family or enjoying the great outdoors with a spot of fishing, hunting, or teeing off on the golf course.
Josh Ford
Residential Roofing Specialist
Working as a firefighter in Georgetown, Josh brings a dependable work ethic to his day-to-day roofing work. He has been part of the Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting team for the past year, building relationships with homeowners and staying consistent in how he handles each project.
When he’s not working, he enjoys going to concerts and keeping up with his favorite sports teams.
Cam Collins
Residential Roofing Specialist
With 10 years of experience as a firefighter—and now, serving as a Captain in Georgetown—Cam brings leadership and accountability to every project he takes on. He has also spent years working in construction, giving him a strong foundation in on-site project management.
When he is not working, Cam enjoys spending time with family and playing golf.
Dalton Works
Residential Roofing Specialist
Dalton proudly serves as a firefighter here in Lexington, bringing that same dependable mindset into his work with homeowners. He focuses on keeping the process straightforward and communication clear from start to finish.
When he is not working, Dalton enjoys spending time with family & friends and fishing.
Zach Miles
Residential Roofing Specialist
Zach brings more than a decade of hands-on experience in commercial roofing, having worked both on installation crews and in the supply side of the industry. That perspective gives him a strong understanding of how commercial projects come together at every step of the process.
Outside of work, he’s always on the move, coaching his son’s baseball team, spending time with family, and keeping up with UK sports whenever he can.
Josh Walls
Commercial Roofing Specialist
Having spent 10 years as a firefighter, Josh brings a strong sense of discipline and reliability to his role on the commercial side of the business. He works closely with the team to keep projects moving and organized, while balancing life at home with his family.
Outside of work, he’s usually on the field coaching his son’s teams, spending time with his daughter, or just being with his family whenever he gets the chance.
